During our stay at Vilniaus “Santaros” vidurine mokykla, students and teachers participated actively in two lessons that put into practice two different approaches to language learning and a workshop on a current issue.
This highly participative session allowed students to put into practice their oral skills as well as to develop their abilities to generate opinion and defend it.
This session was intended to promote students’ engagement and gave them a reason to talk and therefore, improve their oral skills.
Students and teachers participated in this session based on the stereotypes we have about foreign people.
At the same time, teachers could also interchange opinions about these methodologies and how they could be effectively implemented in the classroom.
Apart from this, teachers also revised and checked the rules to participate in the logo contest of our project. The outcomes for this contest and the final winner would be chosen in the next meeting in Madeira.
